There's a great Fleet Air Arm 1943 movie called "Fleet Fighter" all about the training of fighter pilots on Hurri Mk.Is which I recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the Hurri.
I see, very interesting! How come the devs didn't know about this? Such things are needed for a more immersive sim.

I've already made a post about it in the FM/DM forum and mentioned it in a patch thread but it's a very minor issue to be honest. I'd like to be able to start a mission on the ground with the canopy already open, seems silly to me to have it already closed.
