1. As soon as IAS exceeds 500km/h the Bf110 goes wild on you..
Seems like she get mini wing stalls ( ie. you'll find first the 1 wing suddenly drops , once you correct that , the other wing suddenly drops ) , this continues until you decrease speed to less than 500km/h.
The first time this happened I though I might have lost some part of the tail ( the effect is very much like old IL-2 when the 110 loose a stabilizer due to excessive speed ) , except there was no noticeable damage.
2. Fuel gauge indicates empty tank during the entire flight to London
This was experienced with full realism (- head shake and anthropomorphic controls ) in a QMB flight.
Question:
Anyone know what the RPM limit on the 110 engines are ? 2300 or 2200
I destroyed my engines over London , Water temp 85C , Oil 65-75C, Alt was 6500-6700m ( struggled to get her higher ) , RPM I kept around 2200, then suddenly I had loss of power in both engines , no messages to indicate what I damaged , ( and no sound of grinding bearings like in old IL-2) , after a round a minute both engines shutdown on me.. Not the kind of thing I would like to happen over London..
