RoF also has a more supportive community and not a basher community for some reasons I do not know despite RoF's equally or more desastrous beginnings in comparison to CoD.

I guess as newcomers ppl were more forgiving towards the RoF devs. Some ppl changing from IL2 to Clod probably expected they will have something like the uber IL2 with great graphics, phantastic FM and DM and similar monster content, absolutely bug-free and running on a computer two years old with high settings.
