One thing I noticed on the hurri vid is that the prop blades bend the wrong way according to the direction of rotation.

I have that same card and seriously, I would stop complaining about stuff like that till the performance is sorted out.

I'd like to point out that the card is handling the game pretty well

Yep, i have seen videos on the about same power with hardware, more stuttering than his videos, so it's maybe stuttering more with some hardware.

I think its the textures being loaded up slowly, my bet is a huge patch will solve this problem.

I believe I saw a vid showcasing this that during early morning, late evening you can see the lights, but as it switches to darker outside, the lights turn off so that during the night, it's pitch black.

Yes. The blackout.
No lights were allowed at all. Not just during air raids.
Curtains had to be closed, and light proofed.
