One thing OM said seems to be forgotten:
when we get to see the final product we will get many surprises!
As i don't think that the surprises will be of the negative kind, we cannot expect to see CoD in its final glory until it's installed on our rigs!

This whining is amazing. And the game isn't even out yet..
I love it. I can't wait to see "how porked the ME 109:s FM is compared to Hurricane"-Threats with wikipedia links.
I remember old days@UBIZOO.. It was pure fun to look that teh P-47 won teh war. It made my day several times after having a bad day at the werks.
It is pretty stupid to compare CoD with IL2. Since they are all different games. Even Oleg and the Team has made them both.
We all know that UBI haven't been the most customer friendly company, but the DRM thing is over according their announcement.
I ordered the Collectors Edition and i'm counting days....

Yes he did indeed say this Robtek, but since then he has said that a lot of new exciteng features originally announced to be in the game have now been taken out of the initial release purely because of performance issues. Ok we might see these added at a later date, but what we dont know is whether the features were dropped because the 2007 game engine simply out dated itsself, or whether todays technology is simply not powerful enough.

The surprise will most likely be what is missing rather than whats been added, but I hope im wrong.

I doubt it. Oleg said just a few months ago that there would be surprises, and he obviously meant good surprises, and by then he had a very good idea of how the game would run on our PCs.

You usually are so don't panic

I'm only kidding Tree, since I'm sure you're glad you were wrong about the release date.

Now that would've been cool. We'd then have to believe everything you said forever more.
