Thanks Alpha we kind of understood what you have just said, but we weren't exactly sure how the it worked when pilots get kicked. We did some testing sessions on our server, and this is what we discovered:
1) The plane limit for a type refers to the number of planes of that type that can fly simultaneously; (So if limit = 6, only 6 planes of that type can fly together at the start). 2) This limit reduces as planes of the type are destroyed; (So if 2 planes are destroyed, from that time onwards, only 4 planes of that type can fly together). 3) If a pilot selects a type which is already 'fully taken', all of the pilots still on the ground will get a kick warning, and one will of them be eventually kicked - not necessarily the last pilot who spawned; (So if a 5th pilot then spawns in that type of plane, any one of the pilots still on the ground will get kicked). 4) A pilot who is being warned will get kicked almost immediately if he takes off. It will take longer if he stays on the ground. 5) Pilots will not get kicked for no apparent reason, if they understand points (1) (2) & (3). This is the ini file for a map that we are using for an upcoming match. A-20's and 110's are limited to 6 each. Quote:
