Here are some exclusive features of ps3:

) Cell broadband engine. It's a somewhat more powerful machine for running 3d engines - as long as the developers make the game on a ps3 devkit first. It has 2 main cpu's and 6 more that can operate independently. A lot of games use one of other 6 to record video of games while you're playing them. I wish IL-2 would do that, since it clearly doesn't use them all.

) slightly better gpu turns 400gflops to 240gflops in the xbox gpu. Usually won't notice any difference.

)online is totally free, though there's a viral hoax message still going around claiming it won't be soon.

) it's a blu-ray player - don't care that it's a blu-ray player? Well the games are also on blu-ray, and blu-ray discs can hold up to 50gb of data if they're dual-density. Metal Gear Solid 4 used all 50gb. The launch title Resistance was 16 gb.

) you can get a ps3 in pretty much any color as long as it's black.

) it has a web browser for if your pc breaks or something. Youtube works.

) things ps3's used to be able to do but can't (mine is a launch ps3 so it does them all): play ps2 games, run linux, have 4 usb ports, have memory card readers. launch ps3's also have been successfully swap-magicked for ps2 games, but I don't know if it still works.
