I never thought for a second that Oleg would actually post anything this month. One might argue that in that respect, he didn't disappoint.

Me neither to be honest, its a shame really the guy is rapidly losing respect, why on earth does he make these random statements only to repeatedily fail to live up to them?

I really thought he would post something this month. And I am really disappointed.
What are we looking forward to now?
Has anyone heard anything from Oleg since that last interview over at SimHQ?
I suppose the guys from Team Daedalus has contact with him, but they don't share information about anything regarding SOW-BOB..

Well, for all we know, Oleg may have been doing java based mobile phone games for the last 2 years, but as he's got a sense of humor he releases some of the old left over 3D model dumps with blue background now and then to see how long he can keep us quibbeling over nothing over here UBI denies all connections to Maddox, 1C never mention MG at game shows etc... It could be true

Anyway, 4.09 seems to be on it's way in about two weeks or so, which makes me happy anyway!

As a veteran of this sort of thing, I'd advise you Not to get your hopes up for this year.

The usual pattern of events is for the content to be submitted to MG. It languishes in their office for an extended period. In the meantime, 3rd party contributors (DT) continue to finish off other content. This makes the release of the original patch seem uneconomical, and it is eventually decided to roll the new content into the current patch as well. The cycle of testing, compiling and waiting begins again.

Personally I don't expect 409 before April 2010.

Well you can wait.... as for me I'm downloading 4.09 right now. (Pssssssssst. You forgot about the pre release beta patches being distributed. I still remember the hub bub over the 4.01 pre release.)
