The funny thing is that neither of the post has something to do with worshipping somebody. So question is who's the biased reader here.

It's Friday and still September!

Hopes are a little less high than a week ago, but Fridays are allways wellcome anyway.

I'm a little bit more excited by the thought of 4.09 being released soon though! No firm news on that one either, but after reading up on SimHQ yesterday it might seem like it is just around the corner.

Yep read that too mate, it will be interesting to see if the 4.09 patch is compatible with the unified installer and Canon's fantastic new channel map. I also am less hopeful of seeing anything from SOW this month.

I don't think there is anyone who really believes there will something this month. It's fun to pretend though. Like picking at a wound. Getting ready for the big dissapointment to come.

The thing I was thinking of regarding possible release of 4.09 was this post made Sunchaser on Wednesday over at SimHQ:
Quote: "From a post by Viikate at AAA this morning:
"No... Release candidate 1 was tested lot and there wasn't any issues except few typos in text files. RC2 fixes were send to MG yesterday and it takes them day or two to make the build.""

For all I know, Sunchaser and Viikate might be raving lunatics or a compulsory liars, but it's really not that far fetched that the 4.09 might be released soon. It has been in development for some time.

Cheers Skarphol for the news.

It would be very nice to see 409 sometime soon. Not sure what "a day or two" translates into in Oleg-time however. Something similar was said prior to a patch that was due after PF and it was the best part of six months. I was thinking more of SOW, I'd put real money down on not seeing anything about that for a good long while yet.

And all the best to Feuerfalke and Proton45. Hope it works out.

Skarphol, just to enlighten you, according to my wife you have nailed it with the raving lunatic thing but not the compulsive liar thing.

She does not know Viikate but figures that if he is involved with flightsims he must also be a raving lunatic.

Sounds like you have a pleasant evening ahead, enjoy.
