HT, Speedstep, TM and so on can all be issues for bad OC results and hick ups of your cpu.

But as I see on your 680 and your 4GB Ram (which should be at least 6 or better with your video card 8 and more GB), you are not well prepared, but already overclocked your rig. That is strange amd it seems, that you just pulled some sliders in the bios to 4 GHz and not read an overclocking guide for your specific cpu and its stepping/revision/serial number.

You should invest some minutes for your OC, because you are currently running without knowing, what actually happens to your system. Not that you soon get a destroyed system, because it is running on bad settings for its lifetime.

Just a tipp!
Can I just say that is where you are completely wrong! This overclock is done by proper Techs and was sold to me ready overclocked by a well established firm. I was told that if I add more then 4 gig of Ram that I would lose the overclock and it's funny how I have never had a freeze or shut down which would indicate it had been badly overclocked. I have read all about Hyper threading since discovering about it and now I know it's better to have it switched off. Well in my case it must be because it's vastly improved my FPS and my cores are all at low temps because I monitor them with with core Temp. Not one core is above 46c. So where again is this overclock done badly?

Edit: I have noticed that turning TM support back on I still get FPS so this is all to do with the Hyperthreading been disabled.
