Happy birthday Oleg, hope you had the day off!

Thanks for all your hard work. The screens look gorgeous. Those shadows really make everything so life-like. Smoke and fire look great. Sea looks amazing. A big well done from me.

To whoever mentioned the 110 trim tabs...I think your wish has come true.

The fuel spray on that 2nd 110 is really cool.

I think the fire and smoke effects look great, and I don't mean to be that guy (the complaining guy), but it looks like the dark, thick smoke effects are coded to turn on at full strength (like a light switch) at the moment...

Maybe they'd look a little better if there was a transition to the full smoke effect from something like a puffy explosion or a gradual opacity increase?

I've added the original shot at the top along with two photoshopped effects to show what I mean:

...again, sorry to nit-pick and all that. Maybe though, since BoB is still in production, this might be a useful post?

I agree and I don't think your post is useless at all; far from it in fact.

I think the smoke and fire are coming along nicely, but I still think work can be done in places to make it super-duper

Well done, I prefer edit2. The smoke fading away looks good.

I agree, edit 2 looks great. But wouldn't the smoke dissipate a lot more, rather than remain in that cylider style shape?

Looks awesome

although if the aircraft had only been hit a few seconds ago, like someone pointed out, then maybe edit-1 is the best Still when the shot is edited like you have done it makes a lot of difference
