Default We and you deserve it

It would be nice of 1C if at the time bugs get finally sorted out - sure they will get in a pristine and bright springtime morning - there would be some type of, lets call it, 'reward' for the CoD community as a whole after all the patience showed and free bug finding contribution & patch testing time expent by hundreds and hundreds of CoD simmers. Mainly when an expected fully playable and enjoyable sim was what all of us had payed for, a long, long time ago. And things turned out to be a very different way, weren't they?.

Let me put it this way: in any other industry - engineering, legal, architecture, ... - a more than unsufficiently tested 'final' product handed to the client as the final and working product, having been already paid the whole accorded price for it, is, at least, the start flag waving for a huge and long legal and financial trouble for the producer company. Not taking into account the marketing disaster coming along with it, given news would burn like powder in the media, fueled by other companies competing in the same niche.

Well, we are CoD's final clients and no big trouble for 1C, IMHO, but a handful of more than sad and logically unpatient and therefore frustrated simmers complaints - that nevertheless keep up their loyalty to CoD - have arisen so far. And most of the critics have been checked so reasonable and close to the real truth they are not to blame most of times.

Not only do we keep cheering up every update through all these years - yes, no weeks, months, but years! - but we put up with the broken expectatives of failling patches, take the time and effort to help 1C - once and again - with bug reporting (now @ il2bugtracker.com but at the different forums before), emailing crash dump files and again to wait for next friday or else.

I don't think I am exagerating not even a tiny bit, but naturally I may be wrong though, if I reasonably conclude that all explained above is the closest thing you'll find to REAL LOVE by a sim community for a sim like CoD!!

Real Love to a fantastic-yet-to-be-but-getting-increasingly-closer product, our beloved CoD, and all of you at the other side of the mirror: Black6, Luthier, etc.. and the 1C team. Don´t want to forget moderator's unpayable job too.

As for myself, the time and effort 1C members put in the sim is undoubtedly huge, but you get paid for it, my friends. We don't but we are certainly working along with you, shoulder to shoulder ... for years. And you, people at 1C DO KNOW IT, ARE AWARE OF IT or "put it any other way else".

So, please, open your russian hearts and finally admit we deserve it, in any way and whenever you decide it to be. But let it be.

Not thinking of a free BoM copy - he, he - but ... I don't know but sure you're creative enough to find the way to let us feel you appreciate our deep heartlyfelt long time support.

Did you think getting CoD to its brillant & outstanding future final status was a big challenge and once you get it, that was it? Please put the sweetest cherry on top your/our cake to end it up.

You also deserve it.
