Hi AoA, I am here - well I mean around as this forum wasn't even in our wildest dreams then - since the EAW and Jane's WWII fighters, the combatsim.com forums and Microsoft's The Zone - equivalent then to HL today - times. Been along with Il-2 and here I am with all of you, and I'm glad aswell.

But I am shy when asking for something for free to someone I don't happen to know in person *sigh*. If you are more brave than me, at least on this matter, 'the mics are open to your requests' ;o). That's why I left it to the 1C team's imagination to give all of us a big surprise.

Like some others said before: our reward will be another Sim we are able to play. There aren't many good ones around.

If I could ask for a reward I'd love if they add the SU-26 so we can test the FM and have fun with a real aerobatics plane.

always more, of course having the best WWII sim ever made is not enough, concerning the SU-26 they should sell it as a dlc, that's it, and start a new addon biz model. ^^ иди сюда A2A

Positive incentive here would be a good thing.
Of course, +1 here.

+1 Besides that, the SU-26 was being advertised as something that would ship with the game, so having it rolled into a patch for COD would be a good move for 1C.

It looks to me that this has been a difficult and probably extremely expensive process to fix this problematic game.

When it's all said and done, I think we'll be lucky for them to still be in business, let alone be healthy enough financially to hand out a bunch of rebates.

I remember it's release in Forgotten Battles and it blew up when traveling over 500 kph. LOL Took a bit to fix, but 1C finally got it right. LOVE that plane. I can't wait to see the new itineration of the famous bird too.

I don't need a reward for the finished game. As frustrated as we can be as fanatics, I bet the developers and publishers are even more frustrated. I have no reason to believe they've not been working on the game as hard as they say they are. If they finally hit their stride and are making headway quickly, I think we'll have a cracking game. That's enough for me.

There`s nothing wrong with expecting that 1C will give its customers some freebies. I expect it. It happened many times in IL2 Sturmovik history, should happen with CloD. Didn`t we get the Bf109E4 already? I don`t think it`s a secret that many of the buyers got CloD expecting more or less the same policy from 1C. Although it should be well known that it can`t satisfy everyone. The free addons were almost exclusively threatre of operations oriented, so we couldn`t get a P63 for a looooooong time, but there are many variants of the same aircraft. For example the Yak-1 which filled a gaping hole in the winter campaing of 1942 I think.

That is why we need to finally get the game working 100% features and stable. Then the community can take over as they did the last time.

Seriously, I would have no problem paying up to 200 bucks for each installment in the future if 1C Maddox Games follows the policy established with the original IL2. I must have logged over 10.000 hours over 10 years with the last sim, so that money (even 1000 bucks for all titles of the last series combined) would be a bargain considering the amount of enterntainment value taken out of it.

I mean, Flight sims like this are clearly geared at a very small market. Trying to sell this product at usuall game market prices can't work in the long run. To make that a profitable enterprise they lack bulk sales, even if this game had been 100 percent bug free in the beginning. If the quality fits, I'd be paying accodingly. I recon most ppl flying in this sub genre would do so as well. Even more so given the fact most users here are not some teenagers with a money problem, but grown up folks with a steady income.

I'd certainly prefer this model over potential DLCs, which might just fracture the community.
