you must tell where are you going to fly.

if it will be in some dark areas of Africa that just being there are dangerous. Flying is dangerous as being on ground. Also, some air carries in the globe can be dangerous to fly, due maintenance policy or even lack of experience in the first row (i.e. in the Flight Deck) with poor maintenance.

But when in global safety record, it is safe enough. don't worry, enjoy your fly.

only time flying is really considered dangerous is when you have someone on your 6 trying to shoot you down!!

then i'd start to worry a little.

I love flying (other than the screaming babies always sat right next to me). Get the window seat and enjoy the view. I've only once been a bit shaken by a flight and that was landing in Cozumel last time. We had high winds & the pilot turned us around the island at such a low altitude I swear I could make out the leaves in the jungle below. After it we had landed though I wanted to do it again
