Actually the Gloster Gladiator MK I hade the same "single one piece panel" as the J8A, only that the J8A had a mix of Swedish, English and German gauges.

The Gloster Gladiator MK II was the one with a "3 part panel"

The J8A (which is eqivalent to a MKII in performance and what we fly in the game) was a J8 (which essentially was a MK I thus the "single part panel) with a 840 hp engine . Another difference between the J8A and the MKII was the prop. The J8A is fitted with a two bladed prob, which also the MKII was fitted to - but some MKII' was also fitted with the 3 bladed one.

The MKII also had a somewhat different blister.

MKI and J8a panels: (don't mind the size of the gunsight, it was a tad oversized, 10-15 % I think.
