Could someone with the English language version of the game (A.K.A. International version) please share their (English language) Maddox.dll file? Those of us with the Russian version of the game can use it to be able to see the in-game menus and dialog in English.

The Maddox.dll file can be found in this directory:
C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/parts/core

[Helpfull shortcut: From you desktop, if you click on the Windows "Start" button the menu will pop up and you can simply copy then paste the directory location -that I listed above- into the small search field at the bottom of the pop-up menu to quickly locate the file.]

Thanks in advance guys!

thank you for the patch, however,
Il2 CLOD in Windows 8 is still broken, Steam starts games, Steam User goes "Green" aka playing then Blue aka online and CLOD never starts... No other game or software has an issue only CLOD, even 1946 works as it should with no modification... Please, don't give me any windows 8 is not supported, cause I think a lot of people would agree that delaying a game with patches this far kinda necessitates next gen OS support no?

I Still want my money back, there are other Flight Sims that are far more deserving of this funding.

I voted CLOD the most disappointing game of all time, on Hexus just a moment ago.

+ No Dynamic Campaign?
+ So many promises (cockpits, DirectX, Basic functioning Game) still not fully fulfilled...
+ No windows 8 Support?
= IL2 series is in decline

I am done buying your games, DCS: World, with it's modules is where things ought to be moving...

I really dont understand people here which are happy that 1C relased final patch with so many unfinished and still buggy things? I was hope that we will get a few more RC beta patches which fix some more things expecially FM's and performacne CLOD planes.

So it looks like game is over now

Kwiatek: development costs money. How many CoD copies do you think they sell these days? So if you want to see the new game series grow, they need more money that they can get from the next game.

Here you can see another alternative that can happen to a game:

I agree Kwiatek and I was hoping they would at least fix the broken Merlins so we could at least pretend we had flyable RAF aircraft. But, the reality is the project has no more funding, Luthier did spell this out and I suspect some of the BoM project funding was used to finally patch up CoD. It is a shame though that they don't just use a little more to fix that simple engine problem.

Still, we can stand up to the 109s now even of the performance is not correct. I suppose as someone else said, the relative perfomance is closer now and at least we can get some fun out of it.

So, let me get this straight, you want them to support a OS that is not even out yet? really? I mean, I can understand if it did not have proper windows 7 support but expecting support for a OS that is not even on the market yet is just absurd, sorry to be blunt but that is true.

I find the game functions fine, while some of the menu stuff is a little funny, the overall game works as designed and seems to be running very well for me (even on my aged computer), I don't see your issue here, your other problems with cockpits, directX and such don't make any sense, I don't have any issues at all with any of that.

Overall, I don't see your problem, granted, the game needs more work but your issues specifically don't make any sense.
