The term "Native" in this case is referencing your screens highest/best resolution it is capable of. ie 1080p screen = 1920x1080
I hope this explains it... |

On my 1080p screen i changed down to 1680 * 1050 and i have better fps AND better visibility of dot imo. Greetz, Allons!

Just to be clear, there is no stretching when you change resolution unless you choose one your screen cannot support and you use psuedo fullscreen. This would then look as though circles have been squashed or something like this.
