I just bought the A2A Wings of Power 3 Spitfire Ia/IIa and am very impressed with the detail and overall quality of product. If you already have FSX (I didn't) then it's only $29.99 as an add-on. You can bundle on A2A's Accusim package for a little extra -- but then the add on addiction kicks in! LOL

I hasten to say, though, that this is all apples-to-oranges to Cliffs of Dover. If you can fly the CoD Spits OK, then the transition to the A2A (with all its added switches, levers, pumps etc etc etc) is swift. If anything, it gave me a greater appreciation for what the 1C devs took on in modelling the array of fighters and bombers in CoD. The two sims go in two different directions which for me is great: one is a combat sim set in the 1940's, the other a highly-detailed civilian sim which teaches a great deal about one particular aircraft (Spitfire) -- less guns of course, but lots of other systems modelled in.

I spend FAR more time with Cliffs of Dover flying online, but now and again I really enjoy firing up the A2A Spit and putting it through its paces.

And now there's the DCS P51D......with guns! LOL
