I have or at least I did, I've got a light source just behind the top of my head which causes what I can only describe as micro stutters when I turned my head. A cheap desk lamp with a very low wattage bulb cured that problem very quickly.

A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

Its well worth it and once used you can't live without that intuitive head-turning-to-view.

Get the ProCilp if you can afford it. It has three LEDs which means the detection levels are set much lower than the passive reflector-on-a-hat so you won't suffer from ambient light problems. It clips onto the left hand side of the headband just above the earpiece.

I absolutly hate the ProClip. So I guess it depends on personal taste.

I hated it orginally as well but once I set it up properly I wouldn't go back to the other style. I find that ambient light doesn't interfere at all now. It's spot on.

I'm truly amazed. Why is that?

S!

Adds another wire I guess and it's construction is not the sturdiest one. I already had to use "super glue" to make the led "lever" stick etc. The wires I bundled with the headphone wires to a neat cable, so no real problem there. Wireless is not an option for me, in copper I trust!

Otherwise TrackClip Pro is a good thing, less interference with backlight as you can adjust the light filter so that only the tracking IR goes thru etc. After setting up TIR it is a breeze to use and sure helps. Feel handicapped without it and have noted I have tried to turn my head while watching videos..LOL!
