Just tried Track Ir

On my dads pc for Windows Flight simulator X... I felt like a reindeer with only one antler! Was good looking round whilst flying but it was very off at times, needs a little tweaking. When I first saw this product I thought it was a motion sensor, like a webcam on top of the monitor and didn't realize you had to wear such a sartorially clumsy headset attachment! Has anyone tried it at length with Clod and does it give you a real edge? :-)

Will not fly without it, and yes, it gives me an edge, I am far better with it than without.

Once you learn how to use you won't want to fly without it. Need to make sure you don't have a light on behind you or else it interfers with the sensor.

I have never, not even once had any issues with interference on my trackIR from other light sources.

I have been using TiR for a couple of years and would not want to fly without it.

I have lamps behind me (usually off) that can interfere, I can usually clear this up using the TiR software.

Indispensable, IMO. More-so than rudder pedals.

I have or at least I did, I've got a light source just behind the top of my head which causes what I can only describe as micro stutters when I turned my head. A cheap desk lamp with a very low wattage bulb cured that problem very quickly. ;)

Must be lucky I guess, never had any issues with my TrackIR2 either :)

Yeah...that's what I'm talking about. Stutters when a light behind me is competing with the sensor on my cap.

I use it for years,too.
Its a cool thing and work fine all the years.
Even I play with it in arma2 or some racing games.
I wouldnt miss it and i think it was the best investment
to my Pc for gaming
