Note that your sight-zero is only for horizontal shots. IRL when firing up or downwards the shot will pass -above- the pipper due to path alignment with gravity. The difference ain't much but it's sometimes enough to miss.
Just to remember, these planes don't carry single-shot sniper rifles.
