I don't understand peoples attitude either, If I didn't like this game I wouldn't be here on the forum. We all know all the game has many issues and those that have had it since release have endured a broken game. It has hugely improved since release. I have no reason to hate it and wish bad things upon it.

Magazines always give more positive reviews, no matter what the subject, why do people expect this to suddenly change for cliffs of dover.

Then what the hell are you people doing here then? Do you go to art galleries and then tell everyone and the artists that their work is so crappy it's not fit to paper a birdcage? What kind of sick SoB's are you that you would hang out in a forum with the sole intention of trashing the subject of the forum? Get a life, lol!

This whole 'we were forced to do actionx because we ran out of time' is the most pathetic and disingenous excuse possible. It's no excuse and is indefensible and not justifiable. It's pathetic that this is not appreciated on its own merit.

I'm tired of the sheer dishonesty involved.

Do it right, Do it honestly, Do it with integrity, or Have the balls to admit you're not.

Yeah, actually I do do that.

I hate the Tate modern and everything it stands for. It really burns me that my tax money is diverted from hospitals and cruise missiles to that kind of subversive pretentious crap.

So you can imagine how much more it burns to fork out my own money voluntarily for half a dead cow in aspic.

Do 0/100 scores fix them any better or does the angry mob want victims?

Face it ppl: if your rig is not a relatively modern 'gaming pc' it you have issues with the performance. If you got the horsepower you can get a lot out of the CloD!

Sure, bugs remain and extra content would be great and all but in all honesty I've already received my 40€ worth! Most AAA titles cost more and they're over in 18 hours or so, I've got close to hundred and it's getting better and better with each patch.

So go suck your thumbs somewhere else.

My kitchen psychology senses make me thing that the reason for this ongoing rinse and repeat storm of tears is:

1) IL-2 was groundbreaking sim that lasted for years with a LOT of content
2) Clod was built and hyped up for several years which built up the expectations sky high
3) Delay after delay caused frustration, anxiety and even higher hopes for the release once the day finally comes
4) Once the release came it wasn't finished an polished but had major performance issues and limited content

--> Bubble suddenly bursted after years of expectation as the date of the release wasn't the simming nirvana that'll blow everyones' eyes out of sockets and turns the simming world around

--> The people with most expectations, least capability of handling disappointments and tendency for vendetta realized that it's payback time!

And now we're all enjoying fruits of that mental equation and I guess it doesn't matter how good the title would become with new patches etc as the disappointment broke some people's hearts. So they will not forgive and they will not forget.

I had a lot higher hopes too.. it's hard not to after all those years and I felt pretty dissapointed on the day of the release. Now the game is brought to an enjoyable state for me atleast. And probably at the first anniversary of CloD release we will be in the mark where we all hoped to be at the time of the release.

But hey.. I guess there isn't much I can do about that so I might as well sit tight and wait while taking my 109 for a spin every now and then.

Updated review in the current issue of PC Pilot now says that after the patches it has many flaws, but still scored 80%

Got an award for it's quality.

Default My 2 Cents....

Have to add my 2 cents. The game at the time of release was in a disgraceful state. It still is in many places. However I have not yet made any negative comments as I believe that over time it will become a masterpiece. I'd love to here the story from Oleg first hand about the politics of it all.
