Try higher filtering/smoothing (I dont remember teh name) setting for Z axis in freetrack

I'm using freetrack rather than TIR. I don't think the prob is one of the things Charvel mentioned as it all works fine in IL2. If I do obscure the LEDs, FT locks up (as you'd expect) and the shaking stops - so it is about FT. I tried Shift F1 - this stops the shaking but limits my FOV to 180 degrees - ie I can only look out at 90 deg either side of my direction of travel.

The problem seems to be connected to 6doF, in particular in the Z plane. If I "lean" fully in or out, it stops - any position in between causes shaking
