while this poor sim struggles with performance on high end PCs, missing content, AA and ugly landscape ROF has new autumn textures for landscape....they can learn from them:

Hey, this sim isn't perfect yet. But remember that every new generation of flight sims is at the edge of what current top end hardware can handle. It's always been this way.

I don't understand the complaining about the colors. The colors of the landscape are pretty accurate for this region in May or early June. When I look outside (south-west of The Netherlands) the grass is almost the same color (even after a very dry and sunny spring). And no, I don't have to calibrate my monitor because it's already a hardware calibrated IPS monitor. The brownish autumn colors in 'your video' would be too much for autumn in this region. At best the colors of the game need a little fine tuning, but nothing severe.

ROF, at this time after realse at wich CloD is now, was no single fart better Tvrdi. Wait 2 Years and look at CloD then and i BET CloD will be much further than ROF is now.
I for my part at the moment enjoy 20mm and 800HP greatly over 7,62mm and 180 HP

winger, you know me, I will praise when deserved and criticize when, again - deserved....ROF was much more optimised than CLOD at release (few of us had stutters but that was solved later)....OK we will see what will be with CLOD in 2 yrs....

colors? Well not the colors but the vividness, saturation and brightnes....colors could be better but the earlier mentioned are the problem....and also the textures, trees are ugly, AA is not working properly...

Beta is my bet.

I think that current beta will be officialiced with the necessary tweaks. This is the only satisfactory solution when the USA gets the game. Not everybody will try the beta. However, I'm happy to test new beta patches. If they don't work for me, I will roll back.

@Tvrdi: Sorry for my assumption you where talking about color although color is made up of hue, saturation and brightness. So far I read many complaints about the color, but it isn't too bad. The colors in the Youtube video wouldn't be correct for this region (even after the hottest summer ever). The video looks more like what you should expect in Russia with a land climate.

The only complain I would have is that not all acres look to be in the same season (some look summer, some look spring). And the only wish I have is that they make a landscape texture for each season and set the suns path and temperatures accordingly. That would be nice and it wouldn't take extra resources (except disk space) of the system.
