If I understand correctly, the colors are influenced by the atmospheric conditions and the time of the day. If you apply a certain filter it might look good under certain weather conditions/time of day but make all others worse.

No, you don´t have to make a Filter, the whole Texture is too green!
It`doesn`t matter which time you are flying, it`s to green.
Make a Screenshot put it into Photoshop and do autolevel. it´s always to green.
