Yes he did indeed say this Robtek, but since then he has said that a lot of new exciteng features originally announced to be in the game have now been taken out of the initial release purely because of performance issues. Ok we might see these added at a later date, but what we dont know is whether the features were dropped because the 2007 game engine simply out dated itsself, or whether todays technology is simply not powerful enough.

The surprise will most likely be what is missing rather than whats been added, but I hope im wrong.

By looking at few screenshots..... I don't think so.
My teenage friend, you need to have patience.
I want CoD to have mapmaking tools, but i can wait...2 weeks easily.

First of all, I am not teenage (unfortunately) but in my mid 40-es...

And I am not telling what is missing in the game (hope your English is that good) but what is missing in update presentations... not few screenshots - but few dozens of screenshots!

Talking about patience... be patient and read again my posts.

And... whenever something was missing from PC games presentation 1-2 months before release date - it was missing in release version.

Due to my age (maybe...) I am not lacking the patience... I am lacking presently - presentation of late Bf-109E models (for example)
If that is "not important" in CoD - than what is important ?

It is as simple as that... I am not a young Oleg's fanboy... but I am Oleg's flying veteran who is pointing to some important facts - within avelange of youngster's delight.

I have perfectly enough patience... even to wait for DRM version that Ubi is preparing.

I still hope that this is a FORUM (where people express and exchange opinions and impressions) not Ubi or Oleg religion church.

I doubt it. Oleg said just a few months ago that there would be surprises, and he obviously meant good surprises, and by then he had a very good idea of how the game would run on our PCs.

You usually are so don't panic

I'm only kidding Tree, since I'm sure you're glad you were wrong about the release date.

Now that would've been cool. We'd then have to believe everything you said forever more.

+1 a Brilliant post ,unfortunately you are fighting some fanboys on here who will not question,or ask.
Why do we have to wait for the sim to be purchased and on our computers before we see these "hidden" goodies that are promised [not by Oleg but assumed by people on here ].
Has no one considered the facts that maybe ,just maybe what we have and see is it,there are no hidden jewels.
Yes it is a forum,a forum is that should be open enough to ask, discuss not get shouted down as a doubter.
I am worried that when the sim is released people will have built up too much hope on these issues and then feel deflated.
I wait with baited breath to be shot down for daring to ask.
Just out of interest ,how much can be added in 2 months before release without risking introducing problems and bugs?

Judging by the last 7 years development, very little.

I don't think we'll see much bugs, maybe some minor missing content, but their work will not go in vain, that content will probably come back in the expansions and/or patches.

Yes, but then some would need instructions too, a DVD with Oleg showing them how to do it, and then another video, telling them to go out and breathe some fresh air.
