You should be able to run SOW with your system at lower settings. You could also upgrade your video card and cpu later without buying a whole new system.

A high end video card would due wonders.

Also you could upgrade the cpu later to a four core or six core at around 3 gigs depending on how many cores the SOW engine will support effectively.

You can't yet (and probably will never be able to) run six cores on a LGA 775 motherboard, though four cores is a worthwhile improvement.
