Went to see temple of doom at odeon deansgate. First film I recall seeing 70mm on poster. Went back and saw it twice more when it hit the local cinema in altrincham.
Watching Raiders recently I came to the conclusion the horse/truck chase is the best chase scene ever. I don't think it will be topped either cos these days it would be cgi'ed up. Love the tank vs horse in last crusade too

the raiders cleaned up dvd looks great, doesnt show its age too much.i doubt the truck chase would be allowed now, health and safety and all that, great scene i love the face the stuntman(driving the truck ) pulls when he gets a wack off indy and he cant stop it,the mine chase from doom was meant to be in raiders at the end ,it never done it for me that chase

You are right about health and saftey dave. The film that has the ultimate breach is The First Great Train Robbery. Sean Connery doing his own stunts on top of a train meant to be limited to 30mph. After filming he was furious saying train was not doing 30. Helicopter pilot flying camera landed and said he clocked it doing 55mph. It looks amazing on film though. Hairy for a stuntman let alone Connery at that age

I tried to link the truck chase but it looks like Lucasfilm have scoured youtube. Found this though, worth sticking around for the last couple of seconds:

Edit: Found the train scene from First Great Train Robbery:

I'm 38 but only in mortal-human years.

Since you're from Finland, I'll mention I was surfing randomly the other day and noticed the only kind of music in Finland is heavy metal, and it's divided into black metal, power and thrash metal, and lord of the rings metal.

it's quite true. At winter time here is cold and dark so feel little upset at that time. And you can see/ hear it from our music. But hey, at summer we have also nightles night, sun is up from May to September and at that time we do more sunny and happy songs like this britney cover from children of bodom.

Age doesnt matter, only performance.
My highschool days were competing with gamenights palying the game "ELITE" on my C64.
