And then we played oceanx's games...I already vowed not to join his games again and now I remember why. The team deathmatch was fun, and if it wasn't for drdeath we would have slaughtered them, although to be fair they had a random guy.

But the CTA game was a standard issue whoring match - 1 airfield 5 second respawn. My least favourite game mode in the entire game. But whatever, everyone is in the same boat with that, although the match tends to be first to capture wins, so very boring.

Then the strike game - another whoring match. Our team are at sea with 3 ship targets, while they are on land with 12 targets. So all things being equal, a B17 getting to targets is hugely at an advantage against the ships, because all the tickets are in fewer targets. But on top of that, oceanx chose an arado and just kept kamikaze flying into the targets. Even if we had resorted to the same low tactic, we would still lose because of the target distribution.

If you're going to go to the effort of organising a match, make it good. Well played haitch and reaper (P51). And well played drdeath - you're a beast with those La7 cannons. Shame about your teammate's sportmanship.

And christ, realistic is sooo tedious to fly after sim - constant stalling because you don't have control of your flaps. Not once do I stall in sim (when my wings are intact) but doing the same moves in realistic is a nightmare. Whatever "autoflap" code there is doesn't work very well...

Thanks mate! You flew well too

Will have to be another one of these, next time i think ill get a smaller aircraft than a B-17 in CTA lol. I did get a few nice kills though and managed to use the front turret to shoot the Stuka down like i was flying a spit or something i got completely owned in the Team deathmatch.. though to be fair i did get 5 kills in a FW 190. Next time we play i think a hurricane will work alot better.

Yes it was fun, a blast . My compliments to Haitch and p-51 whome gave us some of the toughest games we,ve played ..especially the cta game that could have gone either way ..myself & death thaught u fellas were outstanding & that b17 was effective & halarious......I was useless in tdm but Death was a 1 man airforce ..19 kills just awesome but routine for Death.....so yeagh Death won that game,I just happened to be on the right team.....we got lucky in strike and used the right tactics no more no less....evreyone done thier job a team victory .......the scores misrepresent just how close the games were so well done Vas clan u guys are without doubt the best we have played.
The negitives .. yes we failed to drum up 4 players ,our 4th guy had time zone conondrums ...I wana thank the random who filled in ,and what a random...thanks DUNDIK...I might add Vas also only had 3 guys but this was handled well by both sides.....Our teammate Pignouf-67 was late but made up for it by playing so well & bringing that b17 to the party...Tres bon...
Obviously all we could muster after all our talking was 6 players total.....this is our current reality.......and that was the real purpose of the excercise.......Death has an incredible facility to run a first rate league online but for now anyway thats that im afraid, at least in my opinion anyways.
Finally im forced to deal with this Infinatestates diatribe.....i will restrain from my real taughts because obviously we are dealing with a child ...infact a crybaby whome simply is a bad bad loser...Myself & Death laughed so much in TDM and lost count of the amount of bailouts and deliberate crashs to avoid being killed, it was so blatent it was funny... when the patch comes its all over for u sunshine..a crash will be a minus kill...we were able to laugh cause we still won despite your cheating.....this is what happens when a players ego exceeds his ability back to the positive Infinatestates has promised never to play on my server again ..I will miss him like leprosey and were gona hold you to never playing realistic again.
And all the settings in all the games were default with 20 min games ,,i took screenshoots just incase we had a cryer....it must have being your first time to play strike cause the developers says Kamikaze is a valid tactic you can read it yourself in the il2 site words from the developer by the way the plane dose no damage at all to a ship it just gives u a dive like a stuka the penality is a crash but then u scored 2 in strike ..not bad for your first game.
Im done with forum ping pong besides it keeps me from playin.

OK so I'm not allowed to bail out of a broken plane when no-one is shooting at me using an option in the menu to do so, but you're allowed to use your jet bomber as a missile exploit when you are 2 games up anyway, when there are only 3 targets for you to destroy because a dev said it was ok once (which I've never seen by the way)?

And if it does no damage a) why do it rather than make another bombing run? And b) why did a ship explode often when you did it, and the last time you did it, it took the tickets from 100+ to 1? I realise you were dropping bombs as well, but don't try and tell me it does no damage.

And don't give me this crap about the games were "default" set up. I've seen you hosting plenty of games over my time playing this game so you should know how to host a good fair game, and similarly how to host a game you can exploit.

In my experience the person who shouts loudest and resorts to simple insults the quickest in an argument is the guy who knows he's wrong. Like the idiot that drives into the back of you at a roundabout then gets out effing and blinding. That coupled with the fact that you obviously suspected someone would cotton onto to what you were up to, hence felt the need for screenshots.

And by the way, I didn't say I wouldn't play realistic, I said I wouldn't join your game. I will happily play you, but not on your terms, because you are incapable of making a game that is fun for all concerned. The only game that was fun was the team battle, because it's hard to host that in a lop sided fashion.

Thanks but i saw your kamikaze efforts and well they are unsporting.. I would refrain from doing them again mate.. its just as good to get the Arado on a line over the 3 ships and bomb each and do consecutive bombing runs. it does way more damage in the same time and doesn't go on your profile thingy. Again thanks for the compliments and you have obviously not played Edal, Trk etc if you thought i was good

Anywho, hope we can do this again sometime? If necessary ill host so all 6 of us can play again and Infinite can get some revenge.

Yeah thanks for everyone that played, turned out to be an excellent game. I had the time of my life in that La-7 lol. Well played to everyone that did play and haitch you've got that spitfire set up really well. Almost made me want to go back to flying the spitfire but im convinced the la-7 is the best plane so im gonna stick at it.

Inifitestates i just wish you didnt have to complain so much lol, at the end of the day it was a fair competitive game, two teams battling it out. Settings were infact default 5 second respawn is default and Dover is the default map i thought we all agreed on this as the map ? and you did do a little too much bailing in tdm all i had to do was get a shot on you switch to another target and then to come back at you only to find you'd bailed out or crashed the plane. Maybe the crashing wasnt done purposely but it did seem that way.

Personally i found cta the most exciting constant planes coming in 'trying' to land only to be bombed within seconds. At one point i looked down at the airfied and all i could see was burning planes, it was almost impossible to get a landing through all the smoke ! So cta wasnt boring at all possibly the most exciting of the lot.

Strike, well i find strike boring anyway otherwise id have one of those b17's by now so yeah strike was boring as always but nonetheless it was a competitive game and i enjoyed it. Pignouf in his b17 won the game for us here, once that thing gets through its a game winner. As to us having only 3 targets theres no real advantage, infact the b17 is more suited to carpet bombing so id say team B is at the advantage here. Also theres nothing wrong with kamikaziing in that arado for one it only carries so many bombs so its useless for carpet bombing / going from target to target and two its so sh**te at turning so you may aswell just get those last few bombs off in a kamikazee run and come back in with a new plane with a full set of bombs. Oh and i can confirm crashing the plane into the target doesnt do any damage, i tried it earlier . Not quite sure what happened with you here though infinitestates you seemed to quit the game as soon as you realised you were gonna lose, not exactly good sportsmanship on your behalf. You should stick with your team till the end regardless if your gonna win or lose.

At the end of the day tactics are tactics and there what win games, so stop complaining and be happy we managed to get a good game going .
