A bit much but man the online has been a HUGE letdown. Nothing but arcade furballs, I played in a match lkast week wehre every single plane was either an I-153 or an I-16 I mean wtf is this a WW2 game? The best planes in Arcade are pieces of shit?

It could well be that I don't play at the same time as most that play realistic or sim but I'd say in my experience I have about of 10-20% chance of finding a Realistic or sim match per session nevermind repeated matches. I found one realistic Strike match the other day after playing for an hour and some retard named drdeath5000 or something kept kamikazing the targets. **** it. I enjoy single player a lot and LOVE playing with a lot of you guys on here but overall the online is a joke because of the people playing it.

Wow tough crowd. It's only a game dazz! Lighten up!

Don't you think it's funny how this guy chose to go out asking that Anton admit to defeat!? It's funny as hell! The world isn't going to end because the OP has left us and it certainly won't end if you all leave me behind!

drdeath5000, that sounds familiar, lol. That is why I only play on sim now, it gets you rid of all those call of duty style idiots.

Is it really hours to find a game on PSN?
Its not bad I always find someone to play with.

Dont get me wrong - I love much of BoP, but as a guy with a young family I cannot spend hours waiting for a game because all serious players have deserted do to the well known issues.

Anton, we salute you and the team for your amazing talent and vision bringing this to console, but the time has come when one must admit defeat. All the best for the future and I hope you manage to release a BoP2, may I suggest that you find:

1. A better publisher.
2. A better QA team.

All respect,

lance1721 - PSN
Well I guess that means your out. Thanks for hanging in there.

so what has the fact that its only a game got to do with the fact that we are losing a member of our community !!!!

and for that matter what make you someone who has only been a member here for a very short time think you can jump onto this guys thread and BELITTLE him ???

take a look at the ace combat forums that game has been out for a couple of years now and had and still has a great following of members and a very active online community this game has been out what 2 months max and allready ppl are leaving this game behind doesnt that tell you somthing ??
the future as it stands looks bleak for this game something myself and many others are trying hard not to let happen yet you who has hardly joined this community feels that you have the right to belittle and riddicule an active member of this forum, way to change his mind for sure ??

i say if you cant add something positive to the thread then dont bother posting

oh and i can hear the beating of wings prolly coming to beat me down and in a holyer than thou, matter of fact way point out the error of my ways jeez someone make the guy a mod allready
rant over

Well, I just bought the game today, and so far I really like it.

I think you guys need to lighten up a little. It's only been out like what 2 months? It will get patched. In the meantime, if I burn out on waiting for multiplayer games, I'll just play uncharted 2 or something else. Thats why I hve more than one game.

I read that whole thread kind of attacking Anton, and thought it was kind of rude tbh. People need to have a little more patience. Nowadays, everyone wants everything immediately, but sometimes the world doesn't work like that.

Just relax.

Well I've finally mastered flying the Fw-190 A5 on simulator. (Controls set to 100% and lots of practice to familiarise myself with the foilbles and unstabilty of the bloody thing).

I was involved in a series of X-Box 360 BOP with one side flying P-47s and the other Fw-190s of various grades.

I managed one kill (aimed and blew off a wingtip on a P-47), clipped a tree with a wing whilst chasing another, was shot down twice and watched Wizzard spin out of control in his P-51 B after I scored only 5 hits on the tail / fuselage from 200 yards. I didn't score that one and wasn't able to take aim at him otherwise I would have stuffed it too.

For a 12 player game it was a lot of fun.

As for COD.... after COD 3 it was dumbed down, made easier on story mode, filled with carappy gimmics and aimed at kids. There are still big games on every night on COD 3 with Buell 37 hosting. The common age of the players is over 30 and several women play too.

I think that BOP will still have folks, who are into WW2 aviation, still playing it in 2 years time.

On the lack of players on the PS 3 just reflects on the lack of interest in Sony with looking after their Playstation online gaming system. Nobody oversees or polices it weed out dickheads and assholes, etc.

The X-Box Live, is the direct opposite of this and is both maintains, overseen and policed.... but then again Microsoft has vastly more money to spend than Sony.

All this makes the X-Box 360 vastly more popular than the Playstation 3 so there are more folks found to play against on the X-Box than the Playstation.

X-Box is the modern Sinclair Spectrum here in the UK and X-Box games dominate the shelves of Gamestation and Game franchise shops.

We mustn't forget all those loosers and unfortunates who have a Wii, which is aimed at Kintergarten aged players, Politically Correct households, those who like uninspiring, tedious and lame games, etc.
