Default Time to admit defeat with this game?

I spent months prior to release following the forum's every post, joining VAS Sqn in anticipation, dusted off the PS3 and purchased TMaster, traded in all my old game for BOP etc. All on the back of the PC versions of the game.

Dont get me wrong - I love much of BoP, but as a guy with a young family I cannot spend hours waiting for a game because all serious players have deserted do to the well known issues.

Anton, we salute you and the team for your amazing talent and vision bringing this to console, but the time has come when one must admit defeat. All the best for the future and I hope you manage to release a BoP2, may I suggest that you find:

1. A better publisher.
2. A better QA team.

All respect,

The sound of Taps fades out...

The eulogy begins:

This world is a sadder place today because we have lost someone who we all didn't really know. FilthyPrick will be remembered for his long and courageous fight against those who did not give him what he wanted. Some may say he fought a silly war and just laugh. Others may say he was a giant among men. Fearing nothing and standing up for the things he cherished. His beloved PS3 and BOP.

And so it is with a heavy heart that I say farewell to you, FilthyPrick. May the glorious gates of heaven open to you and give you the peace of mind you so richly deserve o FilthyPrick.

im sure he feels the same way as many more of us do maybe he is the first of many not counting those who allready have left the game behind ??

Seems like the PSN guys are the ones with most of the really bad problems finding games. On 360 during primetime hours its not bad at all, tedious yes due to bad lobbies, but theres a good amount of diehards out there waiting to play (and I'm only talking about Sim games). Is it really hours to find a game on PSN?

Even if this game were single player only it would have permanent residence at my house. It's still brilliant with no killer bugs.

Wouldn't say hours, just never (for me, an Aussie, with an awful gaming time table)
easily tried 20+ times and have played 2 games (in a row) that have been good, sim, and edal86 just knocked me out of the sky every 35.2 seconds!!

Maybe my prob is I refuse to play on arcade as it is frigging awful, and even then I can usually only find 1 game with 1 player in it

maybe being able to join games in play, might pop that in suggest to dev thread

Single player also has some probs. I'm far from being a great pilot and I never get shot down (simulator mode).
The only time I fail a mission is if I run out of time or cant find the tatget that needs to be destroyed.

I would love to be able to play this game offline, but the AI isnt anywhere near challenging enough.

However, they did mention in the Dev forum that this would be addressed in the patch
..."Enemies AI and allies AI were improved"....

Cheers
