The only evidence (that I've seen) of the ZFR's use in combat is from Franz Oswald of 13.(Pz)/SG 9 who noted
"that the ZFR 3B telescopic gunsight made target acquisition difficult." (Quote taken from Martin Pegg's Hs 129 book).
How that applies to the entire production run of the B-3, I don't know.
