And then we played oceanx's games...I already vowed not to join his games again and now I remember why. The team deathmatch was fun, and if it wasn't for drdeath we would have slaughtered them, although to be fair they had a random guy.

But the CTA game was a standard issue whoring match - 1 airfield 5 second respawn. My least favourite game mode in the entire game. But whatever, everyone is in the same boat with that, although the match tends to be first to capture wins, so very boring.

Then the strike game - another whoring match. Our team are at sea with 3 ship targets, while they are on land with 12 targets. So all things being equal, a B17 getting to targets is hugely at an advantage against the ships, because all the tickets are in fewer targets. But on top of that, oceanx chose an arado and just kept kamikaze flying into the targets. Even if we had resorted to the same low tactic, we would still lose because of the target distribution.

If you're going to go to the effort of organising a match, make it good. Well played haitch and reaper (P51). And well played drdeath - you're a beast with those La7 cannons. Shame about your teammate's sportmanship.

And christ, realistic is sooo tedious to fly after sim - constant stalling because you don't have control of your flaps. Not once do I stall in sim (when my wings are intact) but doing the same moves in realistic is a nightmare. Whatever "autoflap" code there is doesn't work very well...
