I am in the process of building a curved projection screen. Specs are:
36" x 64" x .22" plastic sheet with outer edges 12" forward of the center mounted on a table 18" x 66"
ViewSonic short throw projector on a extendable wall mount
Eliese NG warping software
Screen painted with "Black Widow" (Google it) over Kilz2 primer
Total cost will be ~$1,250. with the plastic sheet/projector/mount being ~$1,000 of the total.
The method I am using to curve the plastic involves mounting three 36" long aluminum box tubes vertically to the table, and attaching the screen to them.
I have everything except for the wood for the table top, the plastic sheet, and one can of paint. Have located them all. Just need to go get them in a car large enough to carry the plastic and the wood.
I'll start sending some pics as I begin assembly.
