Ok,I took the plunge and ordered myself one of these little beauties,it's a neat little bit of kit,and just gives you that extra little bit of realistic immersion ........I'll be mounting mine left of my cockpit as it would have been mounted in a real Brit fighter, see second pic and control item .24.

For about £40 I thought it was good value for money,we'll see how it performs when I install it.

Well, I`d rather build myself a 3-way-trimm-wheel like Kodoss did...(search for him here on the forum).

40$ is a lot of money for just one axis...

Yeah.....I've seen it,this is it,it's a real beauty, and I take my hat off to his fantastic workmanship, but that cost a bit more than £40,even if it has a 3-way trim, look at the switches, the wooden wheels, the metal casing, and with all respect to Kodoss,I just want a simple elevator trim wheel to give me a little more immersion, not something to trim the 'Nautilus',:)

Will be interested to hear how you get on with it, I'm tempted too:grin:

Would be great if it was animated in the game cockpit.

Mmm.......received the trim wheel ok,but boy it's a bitch to get CoD to recognise it,I have a feeling I may have reached the max amount of controllers that CoD can cope with, which is 4,surely this can't be so.

That being my HOTAS,rudder pedals,a Saitek throttle quadrant and now a Saitek Trim Wheel.I can get the trim wheel to appear in Windows Devices, but CoD is being difficult, and it's getting confused with the throttle quadrant, being installed with it,oh well the quest goes on.

Looks like I'll have to contact Saitek to solve the problem:rolleyes:

nahh...you can have way more than 4.

The Clod control set-up routine is very sensitive to little spikes from other installed devices.

Try setting the trim wheel while your other hotas gear is temporarily unplugged.

Good luck:grin:

Eureka.....got the damn thing to work......I'm not sure quite what the problem was,but I think it was that I still had keys binded to that command,I deleted those and voila, however I also had to re-config my Saitek Throttle Quadrant, but anyway who cares,it works.

It does feel now so much better than using just buttons on my HOTAS to control pitch trim, and the 9 revolutions of control give you very fine tuning indeed, definatley worth the £40,just for the immersion alone:grin:
