S! Every one,

I have a CH ProPedal, it work fine for yaw but I cannot make it to brake at all.
In control setting I can see that it is working, there is a response (green slider at bottom right).
I tried different setting for the dead zone, etc. No response in the simulator!!!

Any advises?

S!

I think only some planes have separate left/right brakes

Spitfires for instance have a single axis brake control that is modified by rudder input

yes and the toe brakes are different from breakes in controls also.

So to clarify (correct if I am wrong):

The Brakes(button) is used for the brakes in the planes like Spitfire, and it's an on/off switch with no in-between. Braking power offset distributed with pedals.

And toe-brakes(individual analogue axis for both left and right) used in planes like 109.

That's how I have my spitfires set up, and it works well for me.

I did not know that. Every day I learn new things, fascinating, I love this simulation.
Thank you every one.
This will give me a chance to fly the 109 witch I rarely do. Back to the sky.

I'm not exactly happy about the way the braking button works in 109 though. Currently, when you press the button, the braking power goes directly to 100% -> instant face plant and a ruined prop. Not very nice when taxiing/landing. They should've done it how it worked in the old IL-2, as in, when you pressed the button, the braking power would slowly start to increase from 0% to 100%. This worked really well.

I currently have no toe brakes on my (DIY)pedals, and I'm quite certain that I'm not alone in not having them. I have made an issue about it in the bug tracker:
Gradually increasing braking power with braking button. (http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/181)

I have toe brakes but I voted anyway. ;)

I voted for it. We have the same problem on RAF with the digital on off braking. It should be analogue but it isn't. Even full on the brakes are rubbish.

A coupla of things. DO you have your CH Control manager working for profiling?

Go to the CH forum Here: Differential+Braking (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/showthread.php?7543-Assigning-Toe-Brakes-in-IL2-1946&highlight=Differential+Braking)

I have had Differential Braking via a Script sine 4.08. Check it!
