That's actually a very nifty tool for historians or those that are interested in the history of war during the last and this century. Would definitely be interested to have a peek if it becomes publicly available, to see what and where the allied airforces conducted raids, especially here in Norway.

As much as I'd hope so,I doubt it'll be freely accessible,if anything for safety reasons. It has to be said that the accidental finding of unexploded ordnance is quite common in the European continent,so it would surely be useful to construction workers,urban developers etc.

Knowing the Americans it wouldn't surprise me if the acquisition of these databases would come with a HUGE bill: kinda ironic,first we bomb you,then we charge you to know where we bombed you ;-)

Joking aside,I don't know much else,but there's an email address of the man behind it on te article.
