Nice! :-P

If they got it air worthy do you think they might do the dive attack at air shows? That would be awesome.

They claim this will be only the 3rd stuka in the world. One of the other 2 is at the Museum of science and industry in Chicago which Ive been fortunate enough to see many times as I live in the Chicago burbs and have visited the musem since I was a kid. They also have a spitfire there that was in the battle of britian I believe.

Looks like, after inspecting the lifted parts, that the A/C isn't a Ju 87 but a Ju 88.

Will they be able to restore it ? there is a lots of parts in a bad state. Anyway if they manage to do it can we say it is a restoration or a complete rebuild ?:-P

As I know they will stop lifting this weekend with parts left down there.
They want to resume on an ungiven date later to lift the rest.

In the technical museum in Berlin is a restorated fuselage of a Ju 88 G-1. Will be interesting to see if it is completely restored.

Ive alreay saw a wrack of a fallen bf 109 in the Deutsces museum im München. the remains were only the ossature, in fact a lots of tubes ( hope the pilot managed to eject).I think they left the remains in the state they found them perhaps not to disnature them ?
