Hi,

I`ve been away from CLOD for 1 year, but now want to get back. I have a question - how do you get back the icons in the left lower corner: pitch/mixtire/throttle/radiator ?

Also, how do you get back all those inscriptions in blue displaying on the right side of screen ie.e Throttle 70 % etc. ?

I must have switched them off a year ago and don`t remember how to get them back :)

Thanks for help

Open your confUser.ini (make a backup before) in

scroll down to the section [ChatWindow] replace the section with following, then you have back the orginal layout:

I've only just installed CloD and on my first test flight I was confused as the only thing showing bottom left was the "T" slider for throttle - but everyone else's screenshots show several little sliders there.

How are they normally added ? I mean, not to knock the fix you list above Kodiak, but that seems a little "arcane" for a normal install.

To have more icons than throttle you have to enable CEM and temp effects in the difficulty options.
To have them back on your screen:

- right-click on the in-game screen
- open new window
- right-click on the windows and go to properties
- you have a menu opening with several options you can select to show up in your new window
- select engine parameters (or something like that, writing this from memory)
- you also have several options on how to display the info, window trasparency, border on/off and so on. For engine parameters you should have an option if to display in analog (little icons) or digital (numbers).

In a window you can put any info available in the properties menu. Personally I have one little window with the engine parameters, one showing plane systems and damage and one for radio/server messages.

To select an existing window, alt+left click on it.

Hope you manage to sort out what I wrote :P

Hmmm... if it turns out you are actually flying with CEM etc and still only see the throttle icon (This is an odd little bug I have noticed a couple of times), alt-left click in the general area so the box becomes visable and then click away again and the other sliders will appear. :)

I just wish it was possible to have the Alt, speed etc displayed like the old Il2.... my eyesight is not getting any better and my Facetracknoir tends to start going a bit mental if I wear my glasses..... it has enough of a problem with my crooked nose. lol

Thanks guys, it's all appreciated as I try to get my head around it all.

Edit: Oh ha ha, lol, of course, the Realism options are in Olegish - "Disabling this will ..." but it's already disabled ( checkbox empty ), you have to put the little checkbox solid to En-able it. So of course I've been doing everything with "Easy" mode on. Thanks, with CEM actually turned on, it does show all the icons.
