Setting parameters via API (ala devicelink)

is it possible to control cockpit switches via the API? I know values can be read via AiAircraft.getParameter() but I cannot find a corresponding setParameter anywhere. This was possible in 1946 via devicelink.

I'm trying to implement support for my Saitek Switch Panel (http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/switch.html). I've already reverse engineered it's interface. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

At the moment it's not possible, but it should in a later patch. If i remember the devs statements about Devicelink correctly. :rolleyes:
