Ever had a CLOD dream?

I did last nite, suprised it took me so long.. Started with a london policeman gazing up with his binoculars at the sky watching the heinkels pass over.. then it went on to a hazy image of Goerring saying something along the lines of these british will know fear.. Cue the vision moving to me in a hurricane cockpit twisting the safety off and diving down.. then went the alarm!

During the old days of extensive il2 1946 flying (or more precise its predecessors) I've had flying dreams to some extent. Not dreams of playing the game but if I were actually a pilot......combined with the il2 graphics.
A friend of mine even dreamt that he, another friend and myself (yaa during the old days we were 4 classmates playing this game extensively) are the national Il2 flying-Team and our Il2-coach was our actual sports teacher :D

I had one this mornign, I was placing tents on the German airfields in FMB and wanted some bigger than Zeltbahn but I couldnt research the right tent because there was no internet in my dream...:-P

Not sleep dreams but day dreams of being a pilot of 141 sqn, telling the incompetent CO to F'off, while I took over to lead the sqn to glory, killing Galland in the process ... that's when I called my shrink! :grin:

I had a really cool one one time, not exactly a Clod dream but it was presumably a sequel down the road, I was in a Mustang at like 25,000+ feet with 190's and other Mustangs all over the place, it was online (in the dream) and I had the sense there were like 1000+ people in the server. It really seemed like the game had been mastered, I was just trying to stay close to my leader but squeezed off a few shots at a 190 and nicked him pretty good but he just dove away. I woke up thinking "Damn, it's gonna be years before I get to do that again".

Had a dream last night that they added a 1941 plane pack to CLOD.. it was fantastic!

I had this weird one

It was where everyone was creeping around this plane that "flew by itself", they said it landed last night. The base commander and co of the squadrons were saying its bad omen.

Then at breakfast they ate shingles and everyone kept staring at me since I only ate half, and then someone who I remember was an ass got more food and dumped it on my plate. I was "forced to eat" and was full.

After briefing we went outside and there was a commando raid, they looked like they had black socks on with white mask and fought with knives only. One of them was going to stab me but I scooted back and hit him in the noggin with a frying pan. I remember how could I move when I was stuffed.

Then the MP's used their submachine guns to open fire and killed them. Everyone was creeping around the shadow plane and I'm all "It's a bearcat (because the silhoutte was)." And I said, "The commandos tried to get it back!"

I said, "it's american!" I drew close to pull off the cover but realized it was a shadow but it sucked me in and I heared .50 cals. I fell into something but somehow someone had tied a rope around my foot and pulled me out.

They had used a 109 with a rope attached to the tail wheel, and someone else taxiied in between me using their prop to cut the rope. Don't ask it was a dream.

As I stood up I was thanking them. I saw my reflection in the canopy windows, and it was the st pauli girl. And I screamed. And they said "Stupid wench! it's cursed." they had some talk about getting a priest. Then I realized I was on the German side. I said, "No i'm a girl, i'm supposed to be a guy!!" And they said "no you're a girl, don't be ridiculous". And they were speaking in accent free english. THey said I might be cursed and asked me to sign myself (cross) if I was cursed I couldn't or my arm would burn. But I did it and kept doing it and they said stop. One guy said I was blessed because if I couldn't they'd have to throw me into a jet engine to burn the curse.


Then someone shouted "Bombers!" and I could see the roundels. Weird, because they were so high it was contrails. And as they ran to their planes, someone said "Bring your bag!" it was because during aerobatics sometimes I threw up. I frowned, and my mechanic was telling me to hurry up because he could get his morning beer as soon as he was done with me taking off.

He then started singing" We are drinking beer at noon on Tuesday / In a bar that faces a giant car wash

I remember starting the engine and the mechanic screaming, 'press control alt delete to align the gun site!" and climbing up to altitude and hitting the bomber engines from below and diving down and getting another.

And then remember them doing the German drinking song: Eins, zwei, drei g'suffa! and someone yelling Zicke, zacke, zicke, zacke, hoi, hoi, hoi .

And while sweating because they had these purple colored fighters on me how am I going to pee because I really need to. I realized I was the only one up because no one wanted to fly with the bearcat still there . . . and thought I'm in a real mess now.

and i woke up and made my way to the bathroom. I wrote it down before I forgot the dream . ..

yeah it was after late night and octoberfest . . . btw.
