Well here is my Airfix 1/24 Bf109 Emil, the mount of Staffelkapitan Josef 'Pips' Priller of 6/JG 51 based at Mardyik in Belgium in October 1940. At the time he had 20 Aeriel victories, plus 2 against ground targets, these being marked on the fin of his aircraft. By late 1944, his score had risen to 101 victories, making him the third highest scoring Luftwaffe ace on the Western front during WW2.
I made this model quicker than the others as it is relatively simple as far as pieces are concerned, however it does come with a health warning very little fits properly especially the cowling area so a high quality finish requires alot of perseverance. The majority of it has been airbrushed and it completes my 109 triology the Emil, Gustav and the the Kurfurst, which I will photograph together and post at a later stage.
Enjoy...
