It's a tough audience, but I think you'll all agree that this is the lady for the job. One video response from her and you'll be wishing you had that two week ban instead

True that Feathered....;)
A lot of "loctite" is being used around here....instead of banning.
Duct tape is only a temporary patch.
It seems the Cyrillic is on the wall.
It's the cold war....again. sigh.....:(

Amazingly I once started talking to a girl that was better looking than her about flying out on a club a late night for some weird reason. I realized that she was really interested in flying AND even more flight simulators how amazingly weird it may sound. I have been able to use my IRL flying stories to impress girls with good success but this one wanted to talk simulators more which most girls (like the one in the clip) consider "geek stuff"... So, instead of the usual pick up line after the club closed of "do you want to come home to me for a cup of tea?" (whoever drinks tea at 4 AM?) I asked her if she wanted to come home and fly some Falcon 4 or whatever it may have been back then. And she actually did! (and more ;))
I've never told anyone else of it actually as none of my other friends share my passion for flight simulators and they would harass me for ages for a pick up line like that. But it worked :) It really sounds like a lie but I can assure you it's not.

..this kinda begs the question: what happened afterwards?!
I wonder what's the story behind that video anyway, think it's brill lol
EDIT: for the record, I had a girlfriend that shared my passion for aviation, flying, simming and modelling, but believe me, it was a nightmare, simply cos women apply their way of being women to your passions as well, and in the end you feel deprived of your geek privacy! It sounds crazy I know, and many think that would be the perfect girl, but believe me, it isn't!

Mmm, it ended where a normal "have a cup of tea at my place" would have ended too. One of my best flight sim related memories ;)

He he, I think you have a point there. My wife now (not that sim girl in the story above ;)) at least understand that I like geek stuff and respect it as a valid interest after some years of campaigning against it as accepted hobbies for grown men... :)

I remember making out that I was extremely into knitting machines once, just so I could get into a young ladies pants, I never did though, but I did walk away with a rather splendid turquoise balaclava.

I wish you'd stop quoting people on my Ignore list but as you have....
sounds like another of his woolly stories and I expect he still wears that balaclava, every time he sits down at the keyboard.

I can assure you it's true - and if I posted a picture of her you would actually believe the story even less ;) It would be nice though to have a saved track as a proof of that flight ;)

Hehe, that's where I got it from. :)
Only two guys really seemed to get their weenies shrivelled. Partly because they fancied themselves as real life fighter jocks, and partly because they couldn't abide an outspoken woman.
On the subject of faking an interest; In ninth grade I lied to a girl that I was really into sailing. Her parents ran a boat and I made myself out to be a real sea dog. Laid it on pretty thick and she invited me to come sailing with them one day. I was hurling before we'd even cast off and spent the day barfing over the side. She never spoke to me after that...

Oh she used his stick, be sure 'bout that!
And somehow i have the feeling that Pictures about this kind of "using the stick" wouldnt be appropriate on this Forum. http://www.smilies.4-user.de/include/Froehlich/smilie_happy_051.gif
