Is there a how to on setting up your loadouts, I know they need to be done online to load properly I just don't understand the residue belt and setting up tracers ie.(every 5th). Some guns have several of the same ammunition listed multiple times, thanks, Jay

First, I don't bother with a Residual section of my gun belt (some do) the function of which is to basically tell the pilot he has no ammo left. The Residual is thus the last rounds remaining in a gun and have some visible difference (by a change of colour regards the Tracer for example).

Each gun can have a mixture of different types of ordinance or you can have just one type of round if you prefer.

Outer guns you may decide to have Dewilde -AP -AP -White Tracer, this sequence will be repeated untill empty. In another gun you may just decide to use AP so you you only need to enter this once as it will continue to repeat firing that untill empty.

The weapons data is stored in two User files, one is in your 1C Softclub game folder and the other is in Steam - Userdata - 79773507 - 63950 - Remote.
You can open these with notepad and edit or verify your gundata is stored correcty. Below is an example for a SpitMk11a.

The first part of the data (Red} is the convergence - Horizontal and Vertical.

The second section (in Blue) is the ordinance in each gun. The Guns are numbered 00 to 07. The ordinance type for gun 00 and 07 (the outer guns on the Spit wing is loaded with 11 (Dewilde) then 10 (White Tracer) 2 (Ball) and 9 (AP). This will repeat untill the guns are empty.

The values depend on where in the loadout options list the ordinance appears. There are thirteen for Hurri and Spit, the first in the list is 0 and the last is 12 (observer) - those are the values you enter. AP is 10th down the list but numbering starts at zero so it data value is 9.

as far as i know... for instance... for the 20mm mg ff on the 109... it holds 60 rounds of ammo, each time you add a type of ammo, its 20 rounds, so if you add more than 3 belts, anything after the 3rd one is omitted, i think its the same for any other type of gun too, except for however many rounds that gun holds... the 7.62 mg's i think hold 120 rounds?
