That huge V2 sitting there in the middle of everything must have been one scarry thing back then.

I googled the airshow and everything was linked to facebook.

I deactivated my Facebook account a couple of years ago (the procedure for removing myself completely was a 13 step ordeal)

I think that, if I click on a facebook link, my account will be re-activated. Not an option for me.

Anyone know of a NON-facebook link to the Airshow? I don't want to be re-entangled by FB

The official site for Freeman Field is at www.IndianaMilitary.org. Click on "Freeman AAF" and then follow the links. Hundreds of photos of the captured enemy planes here for evaluation are available, in addition to dozens of experimental planes. A dig is now underway, recovering hundreds of 1945 buried plane parts. Hopes are to recover complete planes. Something like 7 that were there, are un-accounted for.
