The Saitek trim wheel is in my opinion a waist of money, because you have only one trim axis instead of 3.

The throttle quadrant is a good addition to my warthog Joystick. I can use it for mixture, prop pitch, radiator and flaps control. But for trimming it feels not fine enough.

The reason for the trimwheel is the fine adjustment it can give for the trim up and down.
Thr trim on my joystick is not fine enough

+1 I have two throttle quadrants as well. Very good value for money.

Used together with my MSSW2FFB and the Saitek X45 thottle.

i have an x52 pro saitek and i can not get the game to work with trim, so i started my 1946 up instead and my stick is perfect in that game, in this game the aircraft pull to the right and up :(

As I said, the Saitek trim wheel has only one axis for trimming. If it would have 3 axis instead of one, I would buy it.

But 50 € for one trim axis and a Cessna sticker? No way!!!

the X52 Pro has two trim axes wheels. Elevator and rudder trim can be added to the axis wheels in the CoD controls set up. Mine work, problem is that they add too much trim so if you try to compensate for a slight pull to the right and up, even one click left, one click down you end up in a left, downward additude that has to be compensated for with the joystick which is no better than before. Should be a sensitivity setting so that these are very fine adjustments and not major shifts to the control surfaces.

I went from Keys to AXSES...I clicked on elevator trim and then rotated the larger wheel on the throttle and it works in flight very well. I did the same for rudder trim using the smaller wheel and the flaps are on the slider. Use the Axses commands. Cheers, John

You are right. What people miss here is that Saitek Trim Wheel ROTATE 9 turn for all potentiometer course.
A throttle rotate about 60 degrees, a rotarie (like in X-52 throttle) maybe 270 degrees.

Unfortunately is expensive, if only offer one more axis for rudder trim...

Case of buy two 10k 9 turn pot, knobs, a plastic box, one BU0836 or a DIY Mjoy USB controller and make your own trim box. ;)

In-game, select the elevator/rudder control line. There is a sensitivity slider at the bottom of the controls screen. I've adjusted my slider semsitivities for my X52 Pro to 0.75, which seems to worl OK for me.
