I'm a newbe still trying to get BOB working properly. I've set throttle to go from out 0.0 to 1.04 when going from full back throttle to full forward-- corresponds to an input of -.54 to +.54.
When flying a rotel Hurricane at 6000 ft level flight with the throttle fully forward I can only get 250 mph (402 kmh). This is way below the performance stats for this aircraft. With the lower performance it's very difficult to dogfight with anyone, aircraft barely gets off the ground at takeoff with full throttle. Not using engine management.
BOB throttle settings: 0 pos. .3, 0 dead zone .05, 100 pos. .48, 100% dead zone .05, Max 100% dead zone .05. I'm assuming that with the throttle getting 1.04 out full forward the merlin should get me well over 300 mph in level flight @ 6000 ft. Help. what am I doing wrong?

Mate you are not doing anything wrong, the performance of a lot of aircraft particularly at altitude is porked. You cannot even reach their actual service ceilings at present. I have a G940 throttle myself, don't worry its not you or your gear. :)

PS by not using CEM (complex engine management) the figures are even more skewed lol. Hang in there, hopefully it will be sorted out soon. ;)

Thanks, I got a little more out of the throttle by running the Logitech calibration. Yeah, I think your right I need to check the Hurri at 20,000 ft and see what it will do at 3000 rpm. It does look although that the sim developers may have the scaling too low.
