Hi I don't understand what the button for the war emergency power is for in the hurricane. I mean I press it and depress it but nothing changes..
Does anybody know?
Ciao

Same question here.
I did press it (the keyboard mapped one, W) in a 109 as well, I get a small amount of increased revs and then nothing. My thought is that if you have a throttle with a detend for more than 100% thrust that will be as well WEP without having to press a key seperately.

there are two systems in game:
the german one where you just hit the WEP (i belive called here afterburner by 1C :D ) to engage it . in the 109 it will automaticly disabled after 1minute, in the JU88 and 87 you have to do that manually with the same button.

the british one you first have to put the " boost cut" OUT . than you are able to push the throttle through the gate to get 110% (digital engine infowindo output!) of power . i have set my X52 throttle that way that i get 100% at the second "barrier" , and than 110 (boost cut, out) pushing it more forward.

the powerbenefits of these WEPs , in performance, on the MFP & RPM gauges, well, that might be a differnt story.
Call it WIP with a lot of potential.........

109 : 1 min overboost (2500rpm max and 1.45ata)

Hurri : boost cut out engaged = 6.5lb at 3000rpm (seems to be unlimited in game :( )
