First I just want to say that if this isn't the right forum section to post this under, please if a moderator could move it or tell me where to post it, much appreciated.
I discovered a bug with changing controls in the options menu. The error is with the ability to change the controls during the mission, but then when you go back to the menu to change controls again, the game won't let you change anything.
I was able to fix the error by going back in a mission to change controls. I was able to once again, and when I left the mission it worked from the main menu as well.
It's confusing to read, but the point to take from it is that some errors may carry over if you adjust options in a mission vs. from the main menu. In my case it was changing up the controls for my joystick (Saitek x52).
