Need a little help in the following in FMB:
Splined roads, what are they and how do I use them?
Adding Humans on guns, is this done in the config file or on the AI triggers?
I remember reading that there has been some map tools to the briefing page has anybody seen or
used them?
Industrial buildings, when I place them I get an error message something about hooks unbound?

i'll try to respond what i know.
splined road: apparently you use that to create new road on the map. per example you creat an army camp with object on a map... and to make it more realistic you can create a road to link the camp to an existing road.
to add humans it is in the config file... i don't know wht is the use of the npc box on the object viewer!
there are some tool but i still myself looking to know how they work.
for industrial building sorry i don't try to use them then i don't know!
Spline roads and airfields are layed to make your own road network or as i have used them to attempt to show a more realistic layout as per Hawkinge.Check this thread ..

When you lay the first point of the road you will get a 1 and an OR appear on the map, sometimes you may have to zoom out to see the OR point.Lay your second point a bit further away, then when you move the OR you will see how it affects the shape of the road.As you continue to lay points you always get two more , an L and an R .These you can move and create corners , dodge around houses ,trees etc.
You can virtually make any shape you want with tem. If you check that thread you will see all the dirt roads i have layed ,the roundabout asphalt road thingy near the main buildings as well as the grass runway circles on the field.Takes some time to get the shapes right but it is worth it to get a more historical look.

to spline roads:
you can attach moving vehicles to them. The cars etc. follow the road and at the road end they will turn and drive back.
To attach a vehicle, enaple the NPC mode, enter the number of vehicles and the vehicle mode (car.cpp etc.), then go to waypoint and select target, then the spline road.
You can make racetracks too, the tanks are pretty fast though , won every race so far :)
